Clayton State makes AJC's 2017 Top Workplace list for sixth consecutive year
Clayton State once again has been recognized for being one of the best places to work in Atlanta. The University earned a spot on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s 2017 Top Workplaces list for the sixth year in a row.
Clayton State landed among the top 25 in the Large Business category. The University was recognized along with 150 other companies at a ceremony in the Georgia Aquarium Tuesday evening. The event was hosted by Kevin Riley, executive editor of the AJC.
The Top Workplaces list is compiled based on responses to an employee survey analyzed by survey firm Workplace Dynamics. Nearly 60,000 metro workers participated in the survey to help decide the final 150 companies on the list.
Companies that make the list are selected because they are “best metro Atlanta has to offer.”
Researchers noted that the companies, “have earned the loyalty and affection of their employees: They have invested as much in their employees’ well-being as they have in tangible perks. The reward for the company can be measured in satisfied customers and on the bottom line.”
All 150 companies will be featured in AJC's Sunday edition in a full writeup about the 2017 Top Workplaces list.
