The second on-campus reading in the Clayton State University Visiting Writers Reading Series will welcome poet Carrie Bennett on Thursday, Mar. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Atrium of the Harry S. Downs Center for Continuing Education on the University’s main campus in Morrow. This event is free and open to the public.
Bennett is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and author of “biography of water” (Word Works’ Washington Prize, 2004). She currently lives in Somerville, MA and teaches writing at Boston University. Her poetry has been published in “Boston Review,” “Caketrain,” “Denver Quarterly,” "Indiana Review,” and “Interim,” among others. Her chapbook, “A Quiet Winter,” will be published this spring (Dancing Girl P).
A Q&A and book signing will follow the reading.
