University Health Services (UHS) at Clayton State University has named Tasha K. Feaster, M.D., as its new medical director. Feaster joined UHS this month and will provide medical leadership and clinical services for the clinic.
Feaster completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington D.C., and completed her internship and residency in emergency medicine at Wright State University in Ohio. She presently works as an attending physician in emergency medicine at Piedmont Henry Hospital where she serves as the assistant medical director.
Feaster’s office hours at UHS will vary based upon her hospital schedule. UHS' nurse practitioner, Jennilyn Simmons, FNP, continues to offer office hours in UHS, which is located in the 1000 Building of the Clayton Station Apartments and can be reached at (678) 466-4940.
