In the wake of the weather-related cancellation of classes for the first week of the spring 2011 semester, Clayton State University has extended its spring semester deadlines for the adding and dropping of classes, late registration for classes, and fee payment.
With weekday classes now scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Jan. 18, Dr. Mark Daddona, interim associate vice president for Enrollment Management, has announced that the "add/drop," late registration, and fee payment deadlines have been extended through Friday, Jan. 21.
"The registration system is currently open for students to add and drop classes," he says. "I think it is important that we still offer four days of add/drop and late registration. We want as many students as possible to be able to attend at least one class session prior to making a decision as to whether or not they want to stay in a course.
"Departments and offices will be open beginning 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 13, to assist students with advising and registration questions and issues."
