Four Clayton State students; Eric Girault, Paradise Ngezem, Denisea Patton, Sochea Ung, and Clayton State professor, Dr. Barbara Goodman, chair of the University’s Department of English, are part of the University System of Georgia’s 2015 Asia Council study abroad trip to China, organized by Dr. Baogang Guo of Dalton State.
The group are in China for 28 days, visiting Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, as well as historic sites such as Longman Grotto, Yuntai Mountain, and Shaolin Temple. The students are taking two classes chosen from a variety of offerings which are being hosted at Zhengzhou University. Goodman is teaching the classes in literature.
