Clayton State University has received the significant honor as a Top Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities honoree by Military Advanced Education magazine.
According to Shiraz Karaa in the Clayton State Office of Counseling and Psychological Services, the target readers of this magazine include military and military education office personnel, government employees, higher education institutions, the Pentagon, and the White House. The honor was based on a survey and short essay submitted by Karaa last month. Her submission form and essay will be published in the December, 2010 issue of Military Advanced Education (Volume 5, Issue 10).
“On behalf of everyone at KMI Media Group, let me congratulate you and the entire staff at Clayton State University for the inspired effort you put into making it easier for our men and women in uniform to advance their careers by enhancing their educations,” wrote Ted Flottman of Military Advanced Education in an email informing Karaa of the honor.
