The federal government is the largest buyer of products and services in the world, and there’s never been a better time to start selling to the government. This one-day seminar will walk attendees through the basics of government procurement, from getting started to planning strategy. Attendees will learn from the experts how to set up a business in the government’s system, how to take advantage of certifications and opportunities for small businesses, and build up a reputation through sub-contracting.
For those who already have experience selling to the government, “Procurement Basics & Beyond” is a chance to learn how to take procurement to the next level as experts in government contracting will demonstrate strategies for interpreting what procurement officers are looking for, preparing winning bid proposals, and planning marketing strategy.
During lunch, local procurement officers will speak on how procurement works at the airport, county government, and state university levels.
