It’s a tradition in the Dental Hygiene program at Clayton State University… Clayton State dental hygiene students, staff and faculty are providing free dental screenings, x-rays, and oral health education to patients as part of the ML King Day of Service. This year's Day of Service is Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 20.
The Day of Service takes place in the Clayton State Dental Hygiene Clinic on the first floor of Edgewater Hall, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with appointments at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The goal of the Day of Service is to provide free oral health screenings and prescribe radiographs for 28 new patients. Call the Clayton State Dental Hygiene Clinic receptionist to schedule an appointment; (678) 466-4920.
This project is an assignment for the senior dental hygiene students' Spring 2015 Community Dental Health class under the direction of Associate Professor Dr. Gail Barnes.
