Affordable Colleges Online has released its ranking of country’s most affordable colleges. Clayton State University is ranked as the fourth most affordable college in the state of Georgia with $649,100 return on investment. The ranking also places Clayton State University as the most affordable university in the state of Georgia to the south of Interstate I-20.

Dr. Thomas Hynes, president of Clayton State University, calls this, “a collective brag point for the whole campus and those who helped us get where we are.”
The acknowledgement comes as faculty and students have finished the first six weeks of fall semester. Dr. Michael Deis, dean of College of Business believes, “the community needs to know about us and the value of our programs. The Clayton State University College of Business is AACSB-accredited and offers bachelor of business administration in accounting, business, marketing and supply chain management as well as an MBA degree in supply chain management, accounting and international business.”
Kimberly Johnson, a general business major with a minor in marketing and supply chain management, likes the value of the education at Clayton State and its size.
“I like the combination. Larger universities like Georgia State could be overwhelming. Here both the price and the size of the university is right,” she says.
Darian Harris, marketing major, has chosen Clayton State University for location and its value.
“I wanted to stay in the city of Atlanta without paying Georgia State tuition,” he says. He considers this news a justification of his decision.
As the economy grows more competitive it is interesting to notice that colleges compete to be recognizes just for their academic standards but also for the value they offer their students. Clayton State University and other colleges and universities in the state of Georgia appreciate the recognition.
