MBA students are encouraged to study abroad in order to gain a global perspective. A trip abroad (global experience) is required for the international business concentration. If an MBA student is concentrating in accounting or supply chain management, a trip may be substituted for the BUSA 6101 International Business and Logistics class. If a student is concentrating in human resource leadership, a study abroad trip may be substituted for the MGMT 6110 Global Human Resource Leadership class.
Study abroad trips are scheduled in the Spring (during Clayton State University's Spring Break in March) and in the Summer (during the Maymester- between Spring and Summer semesters). Students should not miss their other regularly scheduled classes.
Past study abroad destinations include: Belgium, Cuba, Greece, Hungary, India, The Netherlands, Panama, and Turkey.
For additional information on study abroad trips, visit the Office of International Programs.
