It is our intent to start new cohorts as follows:

Fall 2017 - Morrow Campus
How long does the MBA program take to complete?
Our MBA program is a lock-step cohort program that will take approximately 20 months (five semesters) to complete and is designed for busy professionals whose time is already at a premium. For individuals needing the concept courses (prerequisite courses), the program will take an additional semester to complete.
How do I apply for the program?
To begin the process, please see the application information link from the navigation column for information on the application process and the link to begin applying online.
I am an international applicant, what should I know about before applying to the program?
We welcome international applicants to the Clayton State MBA Program. The majority of the information for the program is the same for any applicant; however, international applicants should pay close attention to the MBA for International Students link on the navigation column above as well as this link to information for international students from the School of Graduate Studies: http://www.clayton.edu/graduate/international
If I graduated from Clayton State University, will I still need to have official transcripts from CSU sent to the School of Graduate Studies?
What if my undergraduate degree is in an area other than business?
If your undergraduate degree is in a field other than business, you will (possibly) need to take the concept courses. Those courses are Core Concepts in Accounting and Core Concepts in Quantitative Methods (Statistics).
When is the last day to apply?
The date varies by term. However, you should begin the application process as soon as possible. Enrollment in the MBA program is limited each term. Please see the application link from the navigation column for the actual dates.
Is the program considered full or part-time?
The program is offered in a unique structure that meets the full-time program of study requirement (two classes per semester), while allowing maximum time during the traditional academic week for study and preparation.
Is the program covered by financial aid?
Please contact the Financial Aid office to see what financial aid might be available. Many of the current MBA students receive financial aid assistance or use their employer's tuition assistance benefits.
What are the admissions requirements “really” like? Is there a GMAT Waiver?
All admissions requirements are presented in the application links on our MBA and School of Graduate Studies websites.
In exceptional instances, the GMAT requirement for admission may be waived for applicants. GMAT waivers are considered under the following circumstances: (a) (NEW QUALIFIER) for individuals with a BBA degree from an AACSB accredited school with an Overall GPA of 3.25 or higher, (b) individuals who have had significantly increasing managerial responsibilities at a highly responsible level within an organization, or (c) individuals who own their own business(es) and can provide supporting documentation. Individuals applying for a GMAT waiver must have at least a 2.8 Overall GPA (options b & c) and provide written documentation of at least five years of management experience to the MBA Steering Committee.
The waiver is only recommended after a careful review of the applicant’s credentials. GMAT waiver requests will be reviewed by the MBA Steering Committee before recommendations are made to the Dean of the College of Business. The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies ultimately approves or declines a request. To find out if you may qualify for the GMAT Waiver, contact Heather Chaney or 678-466-4520. Currently, GMAT waivers are not available for international students.
How do I prepare for the GMAT and how do I sign up to take it?
Go to www.mba.com to schedule the exam and find information on prep courses and materials. The test is held all year. You can check the availability on the site given and register for the GMAT. (The site can also tell you other information relevant to pursuing an MBA program.)
