Course Reserves are materials available to Clayton State students at the Circulation Desk. These materials are "reserved" by instructors for use by the students in their classes. Items on reserve will have restricted circulation periods and many of them may only be used in the Library. See the tables below for additional details.
Faculty may place books, articles, video recordings, sound recordings, music scores and other materials on reserve for their students to check out for limited loan periods.
Additional guidelines for faculty in the use of Course Reserves are available. Course Reserves Guidelines.
Students should ask for materials by giving the course name and course number, then the title of the item. A valid LakerCard is required to check out materials.
Materials should be promptly returned to the book return at the Circulation Desk before the loan period expires. Students are held responsible for any lost or damaged materials charged to their record.
Students can search the CSU Catalog to see what materials have been placed on reserve for their class.
