When you are ready to check out materials stop by the Circulation Desk on the lower level with your LakerCard. Return items to the Circulation Desk or the exterior book drops outside of Jazzman's or the library courtyard entrance by the due date issued.
If you are not finished with the material by the due date issued, you can renew the
materials you borrowed for another loan period. Borrowed items may be renewed twice by all authorized users in good standing. You can renew online through your
My Library Account, over the phone (678) 466-4345, or in person at the Circulation Desk. If you have
exceeded your renewals, you must bring the items back to the library to check it out again. In person renewals for equipment are permitted based on availability and course reserves are not renewable.
Replacement and processing fees are assessed when an overdue item has been declared lost by the library, an item has been declared lost by the user, or when an item is returned in a damaged condition. Library fees can be paid only at the Circulation Desk using LakerBucks. If you have a Banner hold from your fee, let
the Circulation staff know so it can be removed. See the Library Fees policy for more information.
If we don't have a book you need, you can request it from another library using either GIL Express which borrows from other Georgia universities or Interlibrary Loan. These items can be picked up and returned to the Circulation Desk.
If your professor put something on hold in the library for all their classes to use, it will be behind the Circulation Desk in the Course Reserves collection. These items have shorter loan periods so be sure to know when it's due back to avoid a fee.
The multimedia collection includes DVDs, videos, CDs, and audiobooks. Limit your CSU Catalog search results by format (audio or video) or location ([item type] at the Circ Desk) and then ask a staff member to pull the item for you to check out.
If you don't know how to locate material on the shelf, ask at the Circulation Desk for assistance. You
