The Office of Marketing and Communications in partnership with STAMATS, leading higher education marketing firm, is hosting a workshop on developing written content for the web.

Time: 1 – 4 p.m.
Location: University Center Boardroom
Note: Attendance is capped at 30 per session. There is no cost for the workshop.
The three-part workshop will include:
- Writing for the web—a broad overview of how it’s like and unlike other kinds of writing, and why. As well as basic skills and fixes.
- Writing for humans—that is, writing persuasively. The basics of writing well. The basics of connecting with an audience.
- Writing for machines—the search engines, screen readers, and other machines we use to read and surf the web.
