Amanda Miliner, the 2015 Georgia Teacher of the Year, will be speaking at Clayton State University as part of the Teacher Education Speaker Series on Tuesday, Mar. 17.
A fourth grade teacher from Miller Elementary School in Houston County, Miliner will be making two presentations on Mar. 17, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room UC416 of the James M. Baker University Center, and from 2:10 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. in the Auditorium at Arbor Hall on the Clayton State – East campus on Trammell Road. Both presentations are free and open to the public.
According to Dr. Ruth Caillouet, chair of the Clayton State Department of Teacher Education, Miliner will be leading an inspirational talk for future educators and sharing her inspirational story about successes and struggles.
