Clayton State University’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter is hosting its second annual Rip the Runway fashion show on Mar. 25, in the Student Activities Center, Ballroom B, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.. All students are invited to this free event which will include special guests from the Georgia State SHRM chapter.
The Clayton State-SHRM is a student organization that is part of the national professional organization SHRM, as well as the local Atlanta chapter, that promotes networking with all its professional chapters to help guide students in finding a career/internship path. This event is to help students gain an understanding of the proper attire for interviews. Also, the event will engage in discussions with six panelist of judges for insight and advice on the topic.
Any students who are interested in the program are welcome to join Clayton State-SHRM, and students are given an 80 percent discount on membership fees. Clayton State graduating senior Krystle Carter is the president of Clayton State-SHRM and should be the one to contact if interested. There are currently only 49 Clayton State-SHRM members, and space for this event is still is available.
