Frazier was a four-year starter for the Lakers men’s basketball program from 1998-2002. During that time he helped lead the program to its first-ever Peach Belt Conference regular season championship, doing so in 2001-02 with a 19-9 overall record and 15-4 mark in league play.
Kreutzer was a three-sport star and is quite simply one of the most decorated student-athletes in the 25-year history of Clayton State Athletics, earning four All-American honors, multiple Southeast Region Runner of the Year awards, a pair of Peach Belt Conference Championships and a Region Championship among a bevy of program records. She truly made her mark as a cross country runner, earning back-to-back All-American recognition in 2004 and 2005 and was the 2004 NCAA Division II national runner-up. The latter followed being named both the PBC Freshman of the Year and Runner of the Year that same season after winning the first of two PBC individual championships (2004, 2008).
Wilkes is a specialist in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, hand surgery, arthroscopy and joint replacement and has served as Clayton State Athletics’ team physician since the program’s inception in 1990. He is one of only two current individuals (the other being head cross country and track coach Mike Mead) to be associated with the department since its beginning.
Williams is arguably the best player in the history of the women’s basketball program and helped to lay the foundation for what has become one of the best programs in the country. Playing from 1994-98, she still ranks as the all-time career leader in points (1,415), rebounds (796), defensive rebounds (578) and free throws (306).
Established in 2013, the Clayton State Athletics Hall of Fame was created to honor former Laker student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty/staff and community members who have, by their outstanding achievements, contributed to the ideals of the Clayton State Department of Athletics. Including this year's honorees, the Clayton State Athletics Hall of Fame has named two classes and enshrined eight former student-athletes, coaches, administrators and special inductees.
