Clayton State is moving to Office 365 Mail (and "the cloud"). After the upgrade is complete, Outlook will ask you to restart it. Once it restarts, it may prompt you to enter your email address (or username) and password. It is imperative that you use the following format "email@example.com" for your email/username. It should look like this firstname.lastname@example.org.
To ensure a smooth transition, please be sure to upgrade Office 2010 to Office 2013 through the Clayton State software portal. Here are some helpful instructions the upgrade procedure.
If you decide not to upgrade, please see visit the system requirements section of our Office 365 FAQ page. You will need to install an update to make sure Office 2010 is compatible with the new server settings. For more information on 365, go to www.clayton.edu/hub/Office365.
You will also need to update your mobile phone settings to work with the new mail system. You can find the instructions on our Office 365 page.
