Telecommunications & Networking

Telecommunications and Networking maintains the campus servers and many of the campus wide applications, such as e-mail, web, and DNS. As our name would indicate, we are the maintainers of the campus network as well. We are also responsible for the campus Avaya telephone system.

We are also responsible for the security of the campus network and servers, and maintain the campus firewalls, Packetshapers and Network Access Control systems.

We are traditionally like the Wizard of Oz -- the people behind the curtain making things work.
