The Office of International Education/Programs receives support for many of its programs from community and business partnerships. With those partnerships, International Education/Programs receives resources to support activities that are not included in its budget. Among those activities, partnership assistance provides scholarships and awards to students who participate in study abroad programs; covers certain expenses for visiting foreign faculty and contributes to costs for Clayton State’s exchange faculty; contributes to costs associated with the numerous foreign visitors that International Education/Programs hosts; and facilitates internship opportunities for foreign exchange students. In some instances, these partnerships provide program (e.g., lectures) or specialized media support.
The following list certainly is not exhaustive, and many individuals contribute resources in varying ways; but the following community/business partnerships are instrumental in their support for Clayton State’s International Education/Programs:
