Stephanie Vasquez is a BOC certified and Georgia licensed athletic trainer. She is currently an athletic trainer with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sports Medicine and is responsible for the care of the athletes at Eagles Landing Christian Academy. Prior to taking the athletic trainer position at ELCA through CHOA she was the assistant athletic trainer responsible for women's soccer, women's tennis and men's golf at Clayton State University for 5 years. In 2014 she began teaching the Injury Prevention and Rehab course for the Health and Fitness Management Program at Clayton State and continues to do so today.
Vasquez earned her Masters of Education in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Human Performance in 2011 from Georgia College while also working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the men's and women's cross country and tennis teams. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Florida State University in 2009.
Vasquez is very active member of the Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association. She is currently serving as both a region representative for the metro Atlanta region and the chairperson for the Awards and Honors Committee. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Southeastern Athletic Trainers’ Association.
