Scott Bassett has worked in the Health and Wellness industry for over 17 years. He holds a M.S. degree in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Fitness and Health Promotion, from Georgia State University. Before attending Georgia State, he completed his B.S. in Health Education: Exercise Science, from Georgia College and State University. While attending GCSU, he also competed on the Cross Country team. In addition to teaching at Clayton State University, Mr. Bassett teaches wellness online with Georgia Military College and works daily with senior adults as a Wellness Director for an independent senior community. He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist, Lean Six Sigma, Eden Alternative Associate, and a CPR/First Aid/AED instructor for the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. When not working with senior adults or teaching, you will find him enjoying time with family, church, tournament fishing, basketball officiating, hiking and golf.
