STUDENT GROUP CHALLENGE
This year, we are offering an incentive for student groups to participate in Clayton State’s annual day of giving. Individuals who contribute any amount at $5 or above, to any one of the twelve projects may elect to “give on behalf” of a student group. The competition is about participation, not about the most money raised, so the student group at the end of the day who has the largest number of individual contributions will win the incentive gift.
(Note: Individuals may give to multiple times during the day to multiple projects. However, only the first gift will apply to the student group incentive challenge. An individual may only designate one student group for the challenge.)
How to compete
Rally your student group members, their friends and family for #Give4Dreams! Share with them that they can make a contribution to this important day of giving and also designate their gift “on behalf of” your student group to help your group win the incentive gift.
Promote #Give4Dreams #Clayton State University on your social media sites. Plan to contact everyone on or before March 1 and remind them to visit www.clayton.edu/give4dreams or come by the contribution kiosk in the University Center between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Also, encourage everyone to watch the live broadcast from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and support your fellow students who will be on air live.
Winning group notification
A winning student group will be announced one week following the campaign. The incentive gift will be awarded 30 days following the campaign date. Funds provided will be deposited into an agency or foundation account and must be utilized in accordance with appropriate institutional policies and procedures. The funds can be used for food, approved travel, conference registration, approved campus events and programs, etc.
Student Group Eligibility
Student Groups include student organizations registered with Campus Life, athletic teams or department-sponsored groups. Groups must have a full-time faculty or staff advisor or coach and must have or have access to a CSU account. Campus-wide organizations (i.e. CEC, media) or groups made up of other groups (i.e., councils) are not eligible to compete.
