Clayton State University partners with several Clayton County Schools to provide mentors through the Federal Work-Study Program.
The work-study students who have participated in the mentor program express personal satisfaction from seeing the skills of young children they mentor improve dramatically in a short time. Many children just need that touch of encouragement that a mentor can provide.
