Patricia Henritze is a director and playwright; her areas of interest include new works, collaborations and adaptations. She directed Clayton State's fall 2012 production of Shakespeare's tragedy, MACBETH
Prof. H is currently the Performance Director for GA Innocence Project's LIFE SENTENCE, the Album. Recently, her short play DESTINY premiered at the Estrogenius Festival in New York and she wrote pieces for the One-Minute Play Festival at Actor’s Express.
Favorite collaborations include: UNDONE, an extreme adaptation of Shakespeare’s ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA with Shawna Tucker; PROXIMITY, an ongoing collaboration with performance artist Nicole Livieratos; WHO’S THERE?, created with Hungarian artists Yvette Feuer and Samu Gryllus and performed at the Budapest Fringe Festival. Ms. Henritze has received grants from Theater Communications Group, Fulton County Arts Council, Poets&Writers, Inc. and Idea Capital; she is a Hambidge Fellow and a Lifetime Member of Working Title Playwrights.
