CRAFT COURSES SUMMER 2019
All craft courses are currently filled. We do have a wait list. There may be seats opening up after April 15th. Please email FDMC with your request to register for these courses. Please include a 2nd choice. FDMC will then send you your link to register should we have seats. You will have 24 hours to complete your registration. Please make sure you include a current phone number and email!
For those students eligible for the summer internship program—those who have successfully completed GFA 1000 and one craft course—you will receive confirmation from GFA of your eligibility. FDMC will also receive confirmation. At that time, please email FDMC for your link to register.
The Georgia Film Academy is dedicated to training entry-level crew members (grips, sound, production assistants, camera assistants, art department, etc...) and workforce development. This program is not focused on content creation (writing, directing, producing, etc...), although content creators can benefit from the knowledge gained in this certificate.

Is enrollment in the Georgia Film Academy (GFA) the same as enrolling in Clayton State University's academic program?
No. The Georgia Film Academy Certification at CSU's Film and Digital Media Center is within the Continuing and Professional Education division of CSU. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate from the Georgia Film Academy. I am a degree-seeking student at Clayton State University, do I need to apply?
No. Enrollment here is solely for people seeking to take the class through Continuing Education. If you are already enrolled at Clayton State as an academic student, please contact Jonathan Harris at ext. 4716 for information about signing up for the course through your class registration.
When do I pay for the course?
At the time of enrollment, you will need to pay for the course to complete your registration. The fee, per course, is $750.00
