Still at a beginning level, think of this class as a chance to gain confidence in "small talk" in Spanish. Vocabulary will be based on occupations, the weather, months and days, food, the home, and likes and dislikes. Students will learn "to be or not to be" (ser vs. estar), "-ir" present tense verbs, adjectives to show possession, and the useful verbs of "tener", "hacer" and "gustar."
