This course is intended for individuals who want to build and enhance their capacity to lead a team. You have realized a need to develop competencies for effective leadership outcomes. A good command of the English language is required.

Teaching Methodology and Assessment:
Method of instruction will include instructor lectures, self assessment exercises, role play scenarios, and case studies. Students will have to complete a group case study analysis using strategies and principles discussed in the course and present a report to the class. There will be a final exam incorporating critical strategies discussed in class that are required for successful supervisor execution. There will be homework assignments that require research and completion.
Criteria for Successful Completion: At a minimum, for a Clayton State University Continuing Education Certificate and CEUs: 80% attendance, active participation and a completed evaluation for the course. The grade will be assessed on the following criteria:
