Department of Mathematics and Decision Sciences

The Mathematics and Decision Sciences program is designed to prepare students to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems that can be modeled mathematically.

Students will learn to critically interpret numerical and graphical data, as well as read and construct mathematical arguments and proofs. A combination of computer technology understanding and enhanced oral and writing skills ensures students can solve problems and communicate a depth a breadth of mathematical knowledge. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to apply mathematical knowledge to a career related to mathematical sciences or in post-baccalaureate studies.
