The College of Information and Mathematical Sciences (CIMS) offers a Bachelor, Applied Associate, and minor in Information Technology. The objective of the Information Technology curriculum is to prepare students to enter the rapidly expanding job market and to contribute to the intellectual body of knowledge. Based on experience and personal expectations, graduating students are expected to comfortably enter employment or attend graduate school after completing the program.
The Bachelor of InformationTechnology accepts all courses earned in the Associate programs, adds the last of the Georgia core classes, a final set of IT Foundations and provides a concentration of courses in a specific IT specialty.
