The Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology (AASIT) combines IT Foundations and Skills courses in the core IT areas of Web Application Development, Database Design, Computer Networking and Security, and Software Development/Programming with Georgia's General Education Core classes give students a solid IT Foundation in a 2-year, 60 hour degree program. Additionally, dual-enrolled students can pursue this program and earn AASIT degree along with their high school diplomas. Students completing the associates may choose to enter the workforce or proceed to the Bachelor level.
