Elrades Wright, Supply Chain Management Major, Junior.
My experience at the CAS has been life changing. Everyone is so helpful and attentive to my needs. The tutors are very patient and resourceful. When I started school, I had to enroll in learning support and take refresher courses. I was a little embarrassed, but my academic advisor, Ms. Diana Johnson, made me feel comfortable. She reassured me that how I was starting was common among students. She was hands-on in preparing me for my journey here and gave me the best advice so I didn't take any unnecessary classes. Being in learning support instilled a work ethic in me to study harder and strive for the best possible grades. I can honestly say that learning support, the tutors, the staff, and the CAS have really had a huge impact on my educational experience here at Clayton State. For the first time in my life, I have kept a 3.0 GPA consistently. They provided me great tutoring for English, Math and Accounting. They also provide me with an environment where I can study and do my homework. Now I am on pace to finish two years before my original projected graduation date of spring 2017. I appreciate everything they have done for me. I don't know what I would do if they didn't offer their services.

Even if you don't have to go through learning support, make sure you take advantage of the workshops and services that the CAS offers.

The CAS has assisted me during my rough times through their (positive) moral support, advisement support, and tutoring support. Algebra has been a great challenge for me. Mr. Christian Fansi, a tutor, is really good in explaining things that I am confused about; he helped me out a great deal to prepare for my 3rd test in Algebra. Christian stayed on point, is a very focused person, has a quick mind and great patience. (He should teach.) I also want to commend Nicholas Lanford for the many times he has helped me; he is very knowledgeable and precise about things. Richard Justice has also helped me. The CAS atmosphere is very peaceful and comforting. The front desk receptionists are always friendly and kind. I love the new location of CAS also. I have enjoyed the Tutoring Blitzes and the Saturday study groups. The CAS has been a great support system for me. Mrs. Jada Mitchell and Ms. Diana Johnson have been a wonderful part of my experience, along with Mrs. Kathy Garrison. There are many positive experiences I have had with the CAS and I am thankful the Center of Academic Success has stuck by my side during my rough times and my not so rough moments. Thanks to everyone for being here for the traditional and non-traditional students that frequent the halls of Clayton State University. THANK YOU! I appreciate each and every one.

I am very impressed with the knowledge of the tutors. So far all my tutors are very good at presenting their ability to convey the subject matter. The CAS is my second home away from home. I get my help at the CAS almost everyday. I love the all the people in at the CAS. You guys are all helpful and generous in spirit. The Center for Academic Success will be my source of help as long as I'm here at Clayton State University. Thank you all and keep up the good work!
