Learning Support Students:
Required Learning Support students must enroll in Learning Support courses prior to or at the same time they enroll in college-level credit courses.
Students who are required to take Learning Support courses must complete these courses before they earn 30 semester hours of graduation applicable credit. Students who have not done so by that point may only enroll in Learning Support courses along with the appropriate co-requisite course until they successfully exit Learning Support courses.
All Learning Support students will have a registration hold placed on their records until they successfully complete all required Learning Support courses.
Students will be required to sign a Learning Support Contract and must participate in a specific number of academic success workshops, study/tutoring sessions, and academic advising sessions.
Students are eligible to enroll in no more than 14 total credit hours provided they meet course prerequisites.
If students are enrolled in MATH 0988 or MATH 0989 along with credit courses, they cannot withdraw from a Learning Support course and stay enrolled in credit level courses.
Learning Support students are advised in the Center for Advising and Retention. Learning Support students are advised by Diana Johnson, Advising and Retention Specialist (678) 466-4074.
