Louis F. Jourdan, Jr., Ph.D. is a Professor of Management, Associate Dean, and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the College of Business at Clayton State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Georgia State University, a Master of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.A. from Presbyterian College. Lou has over 20 years of industry management and consulting experience in the area of credit scoring, personnel selection, performance appraisal, quality improvement, team skills development, and entrepreneurial training. Some of his clients have included Turner Broadcasting System, Union Camp, Snapper, John Deere, Georgia Power, AT&T, and the Texas Credit Union Presidents Association.
Dr. Jourdan has authored or co-authored approximately 100 papers and articles presented at professional organizations or published in academic journals. He has received research grants and a Fulbright-Hayes grant to the Czech Republic and Hungary. His research and teaching interests are in the area of management, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship and innovation. Current areas of research include cross-cultural differences in creativity, work-family-school conflict, credit history and behavior in organizations, and the relationship of cultural attitudes, such as worldmindedness, to receptivity to expatriate assignment.

Research interests: Cross-cultural differences in creativity and in job preferences, innovation, motivation, work-family-school conflict and emotion, worldmindedness, and relationship of personal credit activity to behavior in organizations.
