For Community Partners
Dear Business Leader:
Thank you for your leadership and service in our community. As a fellow member of this community, I deeply appreciate the work that goes into hiring the right human resources, making those critical business decisions, and ultimately getting products and services delivered to customers. All these tasks are crucial for a well-balanced community and I applaud your efforts and results. My personal goal is to help provide you with a ready, well-trained, matured pool of business graduates and career candidates from Clayton State University’s College of Business.
Please partner with me in this challenge by getting students started on an early path to becoming effective business professionals. The College of Business, with your help, is offering a Summer Entrepreneurship and Business Academy to help prepare high school students for the future by providing a unique and exciting hands-on learning opportunity. We will host an annual summer business academy involving selected high school students to provide this exceptional learning experience. The week-long academy challenges high school students to think critically and gain an early sense of college life. The dates for the academy are June 15 through June 20 on the university’s beautiful Morrow Campus. The business academy is moderated by our top-notch professors from accounting, management, and marketing.
I cordially invite you to support our efforts in developing these future business leaders. The program involves exposure to and conversations with business professionals, plant and office tours, and learning about a business environment from working professionals. We need your support to offer these kinds of opportunities through your company for our academy students.
Previous attendees of similar business summer programs at leading universities claim that the experience is unforgettable and greatly rewarding. Please thoughtfully consider the possibilities of a partnership with us and kindly respond to me, Interim Dean Michael Deis. If you prefer a financial gift instead of this type of partnership, please click the “For Sponsors” link. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to answer questions, give you a tour of our beautiful campus, meet our qualified professors, and help acquaint you with our College of Business family.
Interim Dean, Michael Deis
