Anita Whiting, MBA, PhD, is a Professor of Marketing in Clayton State University’s College of Business. Her research has appeared in many scholarly journals, including: The International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Services Marketing, Qualitative Market Research, International Business: Research, Teaching, and Practice, and the Journal of Applied Marketing Theory, among others. She is the founding advisor for both the Howard Marketing Club and the Clayton State Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Before entering the academic world, Dr. Whiting worked for several service organizations including a consulting firm and a major airline. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from Berry College, an MBA from The Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Georgia State University.
