Alphonso O. Ogbuehi is a Professor of Marketing and International Business and former Dean in Clayton State University’s College of Business. He was the Founding Dean of the Park University School of Business in Kanas City, Mo., and has held faculty positions at Bryant, Saint Joseph’s, and Illinois State Universities. His research papers have been published in academic and professional journals including the Thunderbird International Business Review, International Journal of Business and Economic Research, Journal of Management and Policy and Practice, Journal of Business Case Studies, Multinational Business Review, Journal of International Marketing and Exporting, Journal of African Business, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Journal of Small Business Management, International Marketing Review, among others. He is actively involved with national and international conferences such as Decision Sciences, International Academy of African Business and Development, Academy of International Business, and Allied Academies.
Dr. Ogbuehi is a Founding Member of the International Academy of African Business and Development (IAABD) and a member of its Board of Governors. He was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Diaspora Diagnostic and Trauma Center Foundation and is member of the Advisory Board of the American Nigerian International Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Ogbuehi has been featured in the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia Trend Magazine. His commentaries on contemporary topics have been published in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Global Atlanta, African Leadership Magazine, and elsewhere. The Atlanta Business Chronicle named him one of the leading voices of higher education in Metropolitan Atlanta by listing him as a Who’s Who in Atlanta’s Higher Education for 2012.
