Mario V. Norman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Marketing in Clayton State University’s College of Business. He earned a Post-Doc in Marketing and Management from the AACSB endorsed Post-Doctoral Bridge Program from the University of Florida. He earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Psychology from Tennessee State University, and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Prior to joining the College of Business, he served as Associate Professor of Psychology where he primarily taught courses in Cross-Cultural Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, and Professional and Ethical Issues. He was awarded the Gene Hatfield Teacher of the Year for 2013 and the Student Choice Award for teaching for 2011, 2012, and 2013 respectively.
Courses taught: Global Business, Individual Assessment, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Marketing Research & Analysis, Principles of Marketing, Professional & Ethical Issues, Social & Cultural Diversity.
Research interests: Consumer and Organizational Behavior, Decision Making, Diversity & Micro-Aggressions in the Workplace, Pedagogy & Work-life Balance.
