Sherwin E. James is an Assistant Director of the Center for Advising and Retention at Clayton State University, leading the College of Business advising unit. In addition to advising, Sherwin directs the Major Mentor Program, leads the outreach program for community colleges and local high schools for the College of Business; and Coordinates the Override Forms and BBA Admission Application. He earned his Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Human Resources from the University of Idaho.
Research Interests: Ethics in Higher Education; Training & Development; Higher Education Administration; Curriculum Development; Student Development, Retention and Graduation; Student-Athletes development/advising and the NCAA.
