George Nakos is a Professor of Marketing at Clayton State University. He has received several awards for his teaching, research, and service activities. In 2005 he received the prestigious Alice Smith outstanding professor of the year award given by Clayton State University. Last year George was selected to become a Fellow of the Academy of International Business Southeast (AIBSE). AIBSE selects as fellows academics that have made outstanding contributions to the scholarship and practice of international business and have exercised a leadership role in education and scholarship in the field. In the past thirty years, only fifteen academics in the southeastern United States have been honored by becoming fellows of the organization. His work has been publishes in leading journals including, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of International Management, Journal of International Marketing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, International Business Review, Journal of Small Business Management, and Thunderbird International Business Review.

Research interest: Small and Medium-sized Organizations, Entrepreneurial Activities, Market Selection, Cultural Differences in International Management, International Marketing Channels, International Strategic Management Join Ventures & Strategic Alliances.
