Dean Avi Mukherjee discusses the merits of AACSB Accreditation with Lon Langston
Clayton State University’s College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world's business programs. Today, there are 764 business schools in 52 countries and territories that maintain this distinction.
In May of 2016, the College of Business was reaffirmed of AACSB Accreditation following a rigorous self-evaluation and peer-review. It speaks to Clayton State’s commitment and determination of providing the highest level of quality to our business education for our students.
"This reaffirmation reinforces that we at Clayton State and our faculty are delivering the highest quality education to our students. This recognition is a testament to the outstanding value of the Clayton State business programs. We are the largest accredited business school in south metropolitan Atlanta. The College of Business at Clayton State embodies innovation, engagement, and impact as its three strategic pillars in line with the new accreditation standards.
From small class sizes, personalized advising, diverse student body, and strong faculty mentoring to active industry connections, hands-on training in high demand career fields, and development of soft skills, the College of Business undergraduate and MBA programs sharpen the knowledge, skills and dispositions that are necessary for our students to succeed in the competitive global economy. ” ~Dean Avinandan (Avi) Mukherjee
