Program Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Process

The degree granting program faculty members at Clayton State are responsible for the development of all learning outcomes and have worked in teams to develop sets of outcomes that reflect the unique character of their disciplines. Each academic program is required to have an assessment plan that includes student learning outcomes, a curriculum mapping matrix for the outcomes, a data collection plan, identification of an area of program improvement, and results of student achievement of the learning outcomes.

Beginning with the 2023-2024 academic year, the reporting template has been adjusted. The change is to allow for more accurate reporting on achievement of student learning outcomes and identification and tracking of program improvements made as a result of student achievement of the learning outcomes.
