Facilities Management has hired Discovery Tree Service to complete some much needed tree removal work across campus for both safety concerns and possible risk of property damage. There are a total of 24 large pine trees and hard wood trees that will be removed along with stump grinding to complete the project.
With weather permitting and ground conditions in our favor, the tree work is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 29th. The work should be completed by Wednesday, January 31th.
Currently, there will be very minor disruption in parking lots and roads. No parking lots or roads will be completely closed during this time. A few parking spaces may be blocked at times or possible single lane travel for a short time in some areas.
Please be aware and use caution near these areas of campus. Any updates related to parking or roads will be communicated.
If there are any questions, please contact facilities management at 678-466-4240.
