We are preparing to undergo a power shutdown to most buildings on main campus from Oct. 9-10 for campus improvements. Power will be turned off at specified campus buildings for 10 hours each day beginning at 7 a.m.
The schedule for the power shutdown is as follows (see the map below for affected buildings):
East Side Buildings- Annex, Arts & Sciences, Athletics & Health Center, Clayton Hall, College of Business, Edgewater Hall, Facilities Management, Faculty Hall, Lecture Hall, Magnolia Hall, Library, James M. Baker University Center
West Side Buildings- Student Activities Center, Tennis Courts and Soccer Field Lighting, Spivey Hall, Music Education, Harry S. Downs Center for Continuing Education
Laker Hall and CSU East will not be affected by the shutdown.
Also, all computing systems should remain functional, including: email, website, wireless, ServiceNow, Banner, VPN and most other applications.
Faculty and staff should contact their direct supervisors for instruction on work hours during the shutdown. Students will receive additional communication directly from their faculty.
