Sept.28.16- Clayton State Public Safety releases Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
The Clayton State University Department of Public Safety has released the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report as required by the U.S. Department of Education. This report is prepared each year to provide important information about the safety and security of our campus, required policies and procedures, safety programs on campus, as well as guidance for personal safety measures. The report is prepared in cooperation with the University’s Department of Student Affairs and other campus departments, as well as local law enforcement agencies surrounding the campus. Clayton State University continues to be a safe campus, due to the combined efforts of students, faculty, staff, and the Department of Public Safety.
This report includes statistics from the previous three years (2013-2015) for specific crimes reported to have occurred on campus, to include the student housing facilities of Laker Hall and Laker Village, as well as adjacent public properties, as defined and required by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).
