Aug.17.16- Notice Regarding Parking Permits and Recommendations For New Students Parking On Campus
For returning students, faculty and staff, a reminder that our current campus parking permits are valid for four years, so if you picked up one during the last school year, you don’t need to come to our office for a new one this year. However, for those who need to pick up their first permits, our customer service window will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday this week.
Also, for new students, at the start of the semester, the most convenient parking lots fill up fast.
Two recommendations--Don’t park in areas that are designated for faculty and staff only (e.g. much of Lot D) and risk receiving a citation; and, rather than spending a lot of time driving around searching for the most convenient parking spaces at busy times of the day, consider driving directly to Lots K and L, which are located adjacent to the tennis courts and the SAC where there are vacant parking spaces open for everyone. From these lots, it is only a short walk to any location on main campus. Thanks.
