The suspect, who was arrested in the bomb threat investigation last year, has pleaded guilty in Clayton County Criminal Court. The charge was one count of making terrorist threats and the suspect plead to a sentence of five years, to be served on probation. Credit was given for time served in jail and the suspect was ordered to perform 40 hours of community service. A term of probation was to not go on to the property of Clayton State University. If any of the terms of probation are violated, there will be subject to arrest and incarceration.
Sgt. Hall was the lead investigator in this case, with investigative support from other officers as well. The Public Safety staff is commended for conducting a successful investigation in this matter.
