Campus Safety Open Forum Feb 18th
Did you know that Clayton State University was recently ranked #22 in a report released by Best College Reviews for universities with the Best Campus Security? Did you also know that our University was the only institution in Georgia to make the list?
At Clayton State, we take the safety of our faculty, staff, and students very seriously. Although we are proud of the ranking, there are always areas where campus safety can be enhanced. Recently, Dr. Hynes charged a Campus Safety Task Force composed of faculty, staff, and students to review our practices related to campus safety and identify any new recommendations needed. The task force is led by Dr. Elaine Manglitz, Vice-President for Student Affairs and Bobby Hamil, Chief of Public Safety. One of the initial steps is to get feedback from the campus community on perceptions of safety and areas we may need to improve.
Please join us at our initial Campus Safety Open Forum on Thursday, February 18 at 1 p.m. In room 265 of the University Center. We look forward to hearing from you!
