Electric Vehicle Charging Station Grand Opening, Apr. 6
The Clayton State University's Division of Business Operations/Department of Facilities Management is excited to announce that, with a partial grant from Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA), Clayton State has installed a dual port Level II Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) in Parking Lot D, across from Facilities Management loading dock, for Clayton State campus users and visitors. The station will allow simultaneous charging of two vehicles.
The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the station will take place on Apr. 6, at noon at the charging station.
The station is part of the ChargePoint Network. To sign up for use of the station and payment details please go to:
- Call the toll free number on the units for authorization for each session.
The hourly charging rate is $1.05 for the first three hours and $3 per hour after three hours. The fee increases after two hours to encourage customers to move their vehicles so that other customers can access the charging stations.
All users may utilize the map and download Mobile App at http://www.chargepoint.com to determine if the chargers are currently in use.

The ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE form which is to be completed and submitted to Public Safety by all Clayton State faculty, staff and students prior to usage of the EVCS, also has a link at the Public Safety website below the EVCS rules.
