Summer Advising and Registration Information Share Written By John Shiffert Tags 2015-01-28 Summer registration will open on Monday, Feb. 2. There are a lot of great reasons to take classes during the summer (see attached flyer). The Registrar’s Office will not place an Academic Advising hold on your account to prevent you from registering for summer courses. However, I encourage you to reach out to your academic adviser to discuss your summer schedule even though the system will not require you to do so. Please review the registration time ticket schedule. Students can register at 8 a.m. on the day your registration opens (also available at www.clayton.edu/registrar/Time-Tickets ). Summer Time Tickets Classification Hours earned prior to current semester 1st Date to Register Graduate Students & Seniors 90 + hrs. February 2, 2015 Juniors 60- 89 hrs. All first-year students will be advised in the First-Year Advising & Retention Center. The name of your advisor is listed in the DUCK. All professional academic advisors will be using a new online scheduling system called Advisor Connect to schedule advising appointments https://gapps.clayton.edu/advisorconnect/auth/login. This system is replacing Advisortrac. You should contact faculty advisors directly to determine their availability for advising. For additional information and links to specific advising offices go to www.clayton.edu/advising. The summer class schedule is available at apps.clayton.edu/courses/schedule. Since classrooms are still being assigned, and minor adjustments will be made to the schedule, please check again to view the final schedule. The summer academic calendar is available at www.clayton.edu/calendar. The fall academic calendar will be posted within the next few weeks.
